My art practice has predominantly focused on the still life genre over the last 20 years however, during this time, I have also made landscapes, portraits and, more recently, interior paintings.

These interiors have been inspired by different dwellings throughout Australia and overseas – in this case a bathroom in a Montmartre apartment in Paris. 

The work is made on recycled packaging – an unfolded tea box. The irregular shape of the cardboard highlights the dimensionality of the bathroom space whilst the recycled nature of the substrate introduces the idea of sustainability in an art practice.
