Anne Scanlon is a Brisbane based, self taught artist who looks for the everyday moments of joy for her inspiration. 

Ranging from native local flora to iconic nostalgia, connection to both her medium and audience is at the heart of her work.  Her love of oil pastels give a vibrant, painterly approach, and her subject aims to bring a smile to the face of the viewer. 

Her signature style is well known for attention to detail, and an unashamed use of colour.
