Generally my practice centres around the shapes and forms of the outside landscape. However the study of light on an outdoor scene is just as relevant to the interior setting. I have always admired the work of Edward Hopper and his masterful way of capturing light filtering across a variety of subjects, and sometimes just an empty space. It’s from there that this work takes inspiration, as light becomes the subject.
