All of The Ways that i love you

I chose to explore love in this exhibition because it’s universal – something we all experience, yet it hits everyone a little differently.

Being a bit indecisive, I was drawn to a theme that feels both broad and personal: love in all its forms. Each piece reflects a unique part of my life and interests, from heartfelt songs and nostalgic signs to the love I feel for my partner, my family and my friends. This collection brings together everything from classic tattoo flash to lyrics and letters, capturing all of the ways love shapes us.

Through this work, I want people to find pieces they resonate with, whether it’s a familiar phrase, an old tattoo, or a gilded love letter. Each piece uses traditional techniques that feel timeless, like metal leaf gilding, glue-chipped glass or hand poured silver, and they’re meant to connect people to something familiar yet new. I hope these works offer a moment to reflect on the everyday things we all feel - joy, heartache, nostalgia, and maybe a few jokes.

Creating art gives me the same satisfaction as love: it can be challenging, even tedious, but it’s always worth it in the end. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized I’m much more of a romantic than I thought, and this series is my way of sharing that. There’s a thrill in finishing each piece and knowing it may create a moment of connection or a little glimpse into our shared experience of love.
