Emma Stanley
I’m a dedicated practicing artist, High School Art teacher, and Special Educator based in Tamworth, NSW.
A mother of two I’ve returned to my hometown after spending around 20 years away where I now reside with my husband and children.
With a Master’s degree in Special Education and a double degree in Visual Arts and Education, I combine my training with my work in the Support Unit at a local high school, where I get to share my passion for art and work with some amazing students and staff. Outside the classroom, I am a practicing artist and I sell my works through local galleries, markets, and private sales.
As a gallery assistant Weswal Gallery I get to further contribute to the vibrant local art scene and work with amazing artists and gallery staff in a dream job.
I have conducted numerous workshops at Tamworth Regional Gallery, Weswal Gallery as well as privately, working with budding artists in the community.
Working primarily with acrylic on canvas, paint pens, and digital mediums, my artistic style is both versatile and decorative, reflecting my love of pink and pop culture.
I’m passionate about art and all things quirky, I hope to bring a love for the colour pink into every aspect of my life and brighten everyones day.
