Originally from Tamworth NSW, Sydney based Artist Amber Hearn's multidisciplinary practice investigates the landscape through the lens of the human perception accompanied by memory and the importance of place. Her paintings use a combination of free and constrained forms to present worlds in which human presence is void yet eerily resonant. Amber explores the idea of the remnant trace of a body are hinted at, like a memory, but not exposed. Her works create environments which embody being human and how we experience the landscape through memory. 'Always Looking Up' is an ode to the sweet comforts and memories of the artists country days.
