Swiss born and Armidale based, artist Rita Winiger has spent most of her life set against a mountainous backdrop. Her abstract landscape exhibition, Glimpses, references memory and place whilst using mountainous metaphors for her work. Each piece represents a journey through darkness and turbulence towards a resting place filled with colour, light and joy.
