My work is often inspired by memories from far away places, noisy tuk tuks, endless train rides, ceremonies with offerings of flowers and fruit scented by jasmine and marigold leis. Cobblestone streets and the maze of crowded markets. Exotic textiles, embellished saris in vibrant silk, hand stitched flower cloth and inky indigos. The taste of sticky rice and mango and relaxing in a palm filled sandy bay after a steamy day. Being free to roam.

I love acrylics, mixed media and digital art using a bright, bold and juicy colour palette that takes you on a journey to distant tropical islands, exotic hideouts and lush dreamscapes. - Sue Fantini
