Artists Note: 

In my mind's eye, I see these four trees backing onto the plains. They have weathered the storms and the drought and still they stand, perhaps a little stringier than their river bed cousins but just as strong. They watch the tractors come past planting the new crops, the seedlings growing and changing their colours, and then eventually the headers coming to collect. Season after season they stand there, watching on, their leaves tickled by a slight breeze.
